AMBUSH ANNOUNCE 2015-16 SCHEDULE

The St. Louis Ambush have announced their 2015-16 Major Arena Soccer League regular season schedule. The Ambush will kick off the season at home when they host the Chicago Mustangs Saturday, November 14 at 4:35 p.m. at the Family Arena.

The 2015-16 campaign will consist of 10 games at the Family Arena and 10 games on the road. Thirteen of the 20 regular season games will be against Central Division rivals. The Ambush will battle their cross-state rivals, the Missouri Comets, four times. The Ambush square off three time each with the Milwaukee Wave, Chicago Mustangs and Cedar Rapids Rampage. In contests with foes outside the division, the Ambush will duel the Detroit Waza Flo, Syracuse Silver Knights and Baltimore Blast one time each and will clash with Hartford City FC and the Tacoma Stars twice each.

Baltimore Blast

As a prelude to the season, the Ambush are hosting a free Fan Fest and pre-season game Saturday, October 3 at the Family Arena. Among the activities planned are a block party with music, inflatables for the kids, a premiere showing of the documentary “Whoomp There It Is: The Story of the 1995 NPSL Champion St. Louis Ambush,” and a pre-season game against the expansion Cedar Rapids Rampage, followed by an autograph session on the field. Here is the schedule of events for the October 3 Fan Fest:

4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.:

Block party outside arena. Music, inflatables and more! Free and open to the public.

6:00 p.m.:

Doors to the Family Arena open.

6:15 p.m.:

“Whoomp There It Is: The Story of the 1995 NPSL Champion St. Louis Ambush” (first time shown to public) will be shown on the video boards inside the Family Arena.

7:00 p.m.:

Pre-season game: St. Louis Ambush host the Cedar Rapids Rampage.

Autograph session on the field immediately following the game.

The Ambush will get another tune-up for the regular season when they journey to Cedar Rapids to face the Rampage on Friday, October 30.
