AMBUSH TRAVEL TO MILWAUKEE SUNDAY

St. Charles, MO

The St. Louis Ambush (0-4) make their first trip of the season to Milwaukee when they battle the division rival Wave (2-2) this Sunday, December 6 at 2:05 p.m. at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena. Sunday’s contest is the first of four against the Wave during the 2015-16 regular season.

Milwaukee is a perennial contender with a talented roster led by Ian Bennett, Max Ferdinand, Marcio Leite and Bato Radoncic. Veteran Wave goalkeeper Nick Vorberg is in his seventeenth season and remains one of the game’s best.

After a tough start to the season, the Ambush are seeking their first win. With leading offensive threats Gordy Gurson, Odaine Sinclair, Lucas Almeida and Elvir Kafedzic, combined with the solid defense of Chris Mattingly and Chad Vandegriffe, the Ambush are hoping to find the key to turn things around. Another threat for St. Louis is Freddy Moojen, who has only appeared in one of the team’s three games due to a nagging calf strain. If Moojen is able to answer the call for Sunday’s match, he will add another layer of offense to help give the team a boost.

Sunday’s game will be broadcast live at golivesportscast.com. The direct link to the broadcast will also be posted on the Ambush website and Facebook page. The Ambush return home to the Family Arena when they host the Tacoma Stars (4-1) Saturday, December 12 at 7:05 p.m.

Season, group and single game tickets are now on sale for all remaining home games. Call the Ambush office at 636-477-6363 for more information.
