Players Development
From the age of U6 through U12, while playing in 4v4, 7v7 and 9v9 games, our main focus will be technical training, and critical thinking. We will emphasize the use of proper technique and fundamental soccer skills (fast footwork, ball possession, first touch, ball distributions, etc.). We will teach our players to be comfortable handling the ball in tight spaces, comfortable to take on opponents in 1-on-1 situations, and, most importantly, how to create and find space with or without the ball.
We will provide players with a lot of opportunities to consistently compete in an environment that fosters skill,
creativity, mobility, possession, and confidence.
Code of Conduct
Coaches are ultimately responsible for the players and parents behavior during games. We are collectively representing the Club and we should be mindful of our behavior at all times. The guidelines are posted on GotSport website which you have to agreed on at the time of registration.
Ø It is extremely important that instructions are given by the coaching sideline only, and not from the parents’ sideline. This helps the coaches to send consistent messages to the players and avoid confusion.
Ø Please limit sideline cheering to positive encouragement and kudos only. Any comments which can be perceived as “negative” by the players can easily affect their confidence level. Please be your player’s biggest fan.

#NoPlaceforHate
Bullying is not tolerated at all in our program. The players are now at the age where parents and coaches will need to pay extra-close attention to how our players are interacting with each other. Bullying can be in a form of physical and/or verbal abuse. With easy access to electronics, bullying can also be delivered in a form of texting and/or any social media posting (Facebook, Instagram, etc).
Please refer to MYSA’a guidelines in which respect to suing slurs, gestures against their opponents and other around the game. The Laws of the Game includes penalties for this type of behaviors. For more please refer to MYSA website (https://www.missourisoccer.org/news_article/show/1159888).
