Jeff Locker became co-owner of the Ambush in December, 2019. He took on the additional duties of General Manager in March, 2020.

Locker is an experienced wealth manager, specializing in financial planning for individuals, families and business owners. After 10 years in the industry, working as an advisor, mentor, sales manager and partner at a previous firm, he began AXIUS in 2010.

Jeff excels at understanding a client’s goals and then crafting a comprehensive plan designed specifically to meet those goals. He has even been recognized for his accomplishments by being awarded several industry awards, including the Five Star Wealth Manager Award and is a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT).

Jeff attended Truman State University, and earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance and a minor in Economics. He then continued his education by attaining the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation, the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) and FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 65.

When asked what was different about the AXIUS experience, Jeff immediately thought of an Abraham Lincoln quote that he feels embodies the AXIUS spirit. “Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other.”

Locker is a native of St. Charles County, where he still works and resides with his wife Heather and their four children. They also share their house with turtles and frogs, there’s always excitement at the Locker house. Jeff is extremely active in the children’s school, the Academy of the Sacred Heart. He is on the committee furthering enrichment and enjoys giving back to the St. Charles Community.

He did the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu and the original marathon in Athens, Greece. They often visit Disney World in Orlando, and they are hoping to take a Disney Cruise soon. Jeff is an outdoorsman, and loves spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks, fishing, boating, spending time on the water or golfing. Jim Fossell is a lifelong St. Louis area resident and an avid fan of indoor soccer dating back to the original Steamers in the 1980’s.

Jim’s experience includes doing public relations and marketing work for professional wrestling, indoor soccer, small businesses and numerous elected officials throughout the St. Louis area. Jim has worked on over 50 campaigns from the municipal to the state level.

When it was announced that the World Indoor Soccer League had awarded a franchise to the Steamers to play at the Family Arena starting in 2000, Jim built his first website. “St. Louis Steamers – An Unofficial Website by Jim Fossell” grew to become a prominent site, earning accolades from players and fans alike.

When new owners took over the franchise prior to the 2004-05 season, one of them visited Jim’s unofficial website and was impressed with what he saw. That eventually led to Fossell joining the Steamers front office as webmaster of the team’s official website in December 2004. Jim’s duties were later expanded to include writing press releases, creating graphics for promotional materials, and authoring the “View from the Stands” column.

When the current Ambush franchise was announced in the summer of 2013, Jim joined the staff. He said, “I am truly honored to be part of the Ambush franchise and looking forward to contribute to the club’s success.” The 2022-23 season is Jim’s tenth with the Ambush and 12th working in professional indoor soccer. When not working, Jim enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing with his Collie named Buddy, and being a television and YouTube junkie.
