About Us  

St. Louis Ambush has been a part of the Major Arena Soccer League since 2013 and have since added FC Ambush (USL League 2) and FC Ambush Youth Club to the franchise. Ambush is looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals seeking experience in the sports business field.    

Internship Overview  

We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented interns to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in all aspects of sports business, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world setting and grow professionally in a collaborative environment. We have various opportunities available for the upcoming academic year and indoor soccer season.  

Internship Dates/Compensation

  • Compensation: This is an unpaid internship that is available for college credit  
  • Internship Dates: Fall 2025 Intern (August-December); Spring 2026 Intern (January-May); Full Season Intern (November-March)

Opportunities available 
  • Gameday Operations Intern 

  • -Assisting in the preparation for game days and other events  

  • -Assisting in the execution of game day operations including set up and take down  

  • -Provide welcoming customer support for fans as needed  

  • -Assist in maintaining and developing internal documentation  

  • Team Operations Intern 

  • -Assisting in the preparation for game days and practices  

  • -Assisting in the execution of game day team operations such as equipment preparation  

  • -Assist in maintaining of team equipment and preparation for travel  

  • Ticket Sales Intern 

  • -Assisting in the ticket sales process  

  • -Provide welcoming customer support for fans as needed  

  • -Assisting in maintaining and developing internal documentation  

  • -Assisting in merchandise sales  

  • Marketing Intern 

  • -Assisting with the Ambush’s marketing goals  

  • -Support the development of marketing strategies through market research  

  • -Support and attend community engagement opportunities  

  • Communications Intern 

  • -Developing and maintain player profiles  

  • -Creating articles and conducting interviews to promote Ambush and business partners  

  • -Creating after game reports, MASL action reports, and more  

  • -Assisting in maintaining and developing internal documentation  

  • Corporate Sponsorship Intern 

  • -Assisting in the sponsorship sales process  

  • -Assist in the creation of leads  

  • -Provide support in the execution of contractual duties  

  • -Assisting in maintaining and developing internal documentation 


Qualifications*
  • -Currently pursuing a degree in a related field 

  • -Excellent communication and organizational skills 

  • -Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

  • -Must be able to work 10-20 hours a week 

  • -Must be able to attend games during the week (if applicable) and weekends and work in the office during normal business hours
