Internship Opportunities


The St. Louis Ambush is currently accepting applications for the 2024-2025 Internship Program. These internships provide an excellent opportunity for students to gain experience in a professional sports environment.  

 

Applications are currently being accepted for the 2024-2025 Ambush season. Interviews will be held in October for the 2024-2025 season. The 2024-2025 season will run from November 2024 to April 2025.

Letter of Interest, including what experiences you are looking to get during your internship. 

Resume. 

Anticipated start date and end date. 


Please note: All internships are unpaid. We will work with any university to apply worked hours as earned internship credit hours. Positions typically require 15 - 20 hours per week, which includes game days as well as office work. Hours can be flexible to accommodate work and school schedules.

  • Print Item Labels, Print Inventory Sheet, Charge Card Reader, Fulfill Online Orders 
  • Personalize Merchandise 
  • Game Day 
  • Assist With Merchandise Stand Set-Up/Tear Down, Sales 
  • Post game Inventory 

 

  Game Day/PA Operations Assistant 

 

 Reports to Brian Wagner, Director of Game Day Operations & Production 

  • In-Office Theme & Promo Night Execution 
  • Compile Lists/CRM Management 
  • Script & Timeline for Game Days 
  • Assist Director; Partner and Fan Engagement 
    • Merchandise Inventory, Promo Item Inventory 
    • Dasher Ad and Goal Posts signage maintenance & installation 
    • Ticket Links 

   Game Day 

  • Coordinate Pre-Games 
  • Set up PA box (drinks, scripts, rosters, etc.)
  • Assist the Game Day Director to set-up the production
  • Meet with Video Team
  • Execute Game Day Check List
  • Coordinate Post-Game Interviews, Distribute Post Game Meal

    Equipment Assistant

  • Name & Number Player Kits 
  • Assist with Washing Practice Loops and Uniforms 
  • Assist with Equipment Preparation for Game Days 
  • Organize Storage Room Game Day 
  • Assist with Setting up Locker Rooms 
  • Prepare Water Bottles, Prepare Stats Row Cooler, Prepare Staff Cooler 
  • Place Game Balls in Officials Locker Room
