ALMEIDA, COJOCOV NAMED TO MASL TEAM OF THE WEEK

St. Charles, Missouri (January 19, 2021) – St. Louis Ambush players Lucas Almeida and Vadim Cojocov have been named to the Major Arena Soccer League’s (MASL) Team of the Week for Week Three of the 2021 regular season, the league announced today.

The Ambush played one game during Week Three, executing a thrilling come-from-behind 7-6 win over the Kansas City Comets Saturday at the Family Arena. Almeida posted a goal and an assist in the match, while Cojocov tallied two goals.

The Ambush will be back in action this weekend when they host the Tacoma Stars Sunday, January 24 at 5:05 p.m. CST at the Family Arena.

Following Sunday’s duel, the Ambush continue their current home stand when the Florida Tropics come to town for a pair of games January 29 and 31, followed by a two-game set against the Ontario Fury February 5 and 6.
