AMBUSH FALL TO WICHITA IN FIRST GAME OF TOURNAMENT

St. Charles, MO (December 12, 2020) – The St. Louis Ambush fell to the Wichita Wings in the first game of the MASL Central Cup Tournament Saturday afternoon at the Family Arena by a score of 8-3.

Wichita’s offense was led by Taylor Henry, who tallied three goals including the game-winner, and from Eduardo “Benji” Monreal, who also had a hat trick. Additional scoring help came from Alex Moseley and Peter Espinosa, who each posted a goal. On the Ambush side, Duduca Carvalho, Stefan Mijatovic and Ado Jahic each scored a goal.

Between the pipes, Steven Hamersky took the win in goal for Wichita, while Brett Petricek took the loss for St. Louis.

The Ambush continue their quest for the Central Cup when they travel across the state to face the Kansas City Comets at the Cable Dahmer Arena next Saturday, December 19 at 6:00 p.m. CT. The Ambush return home to the Family Arena to host the Dallas Sidekicks on Sunday, December 20 at 12:05 p.m. CT. Tickets are available at the Family Arena box office and online at ticketmaster.com.
