St. Charles, MO – The Milwaukee Wave visit the Family Arena for the first time during the 2015-16 season when they challenge the Ambush this Sunday, December 27th at 5:35 p.m. The Wave enter the match with a 5-3 record, while the Ambush are 0-7. This is the second of four meetings between the two teams, with Milwaukee winning the last matchup 5-2.

Milwaukee is led by midfielder Ian Bennett (twelve goals, two assists), midfielder Max Ferdinand (nine goals, seven assists) and goalkeeper Nick Vorberg. This is Vorberg’s 17th season in net, and he remains one of the top keepers in the game. Former Ambush forward Stefan St. Louis, now playing with Milwaukee, will return to the Family Arena for the first time after appearing in 9 games with the Ambush last season.

Leading the Ambush are forwards Gordy Gurson (thirteen goals, two assists) and Odaine Sinclair (four goals, five assists), and midfielder Anthony Arico (three goals, three assists).  Defender Chad Vandegriffe was issued a red card at the conclusion of last Saturdays game in Cedar Rapids, and will miss this Sunday’s game due to a one-game suspension.

Sunday is also the Ambush’s Mascot Mania. The event features mascots from around the St. Louis area as well as some fan-favorite Star Wars icons. The characters will greet the fans upon arrival to the game and then participate in a special mascot soccer game at halftime.

Following Sunday’s match, the Ambush go on the road when they visit the division-leading Missouri Comets on Tuesday, December 29th at 7:35 p.m.
