Ambush Home Opener Set for November 19

St. Charles, MO — The fast-paced action of professional indoor soccer returns to the Family Arena when the St. Louis Ambush kick off their 2016-17 season Saturday, November 19 at 7:05 p.m. The November 19 Home Opener marks the fourth season for the franchise, which resurrected the Ambush name in 2013. The opponent for the home opener will be announced when the full season schedule is released next month.

The 2016-17 season will consist of 20 regular season games, 10 at home and 10 on the road.  All 10 home games will be played on weekend dates at the Family Arena in St. Charles, where the club has enjoyed tremendous fan support during their first three seasons, finishing third in the league in both average and total attendance. The team recently inked a three year lease renewal with the Family Arena.

“It’s always an exciting time for our fans and our organization when we announce the Home Opener,” stated Ambush Owner Andrew Haines. “That means the start of the season is not far off. It’s a long off-season for us and I know our players and staff are really looking forward to getting things going. We continue to work hard in the community at different events each weekend and we’re trying to put together a competitive team that will make a run at the playoffs.”

Season and Group Tickets are on sale now, while single game tickets will go on sale in October.
