AMBUSH HOST BALTIMORE TWICE THIS WEEKEND
Saint Charles, Missouri (February 26, 2026) – The St. Louis Ambush host the Baltimore Blast in a two-game home series this weekend at The Family Arena. On Friday, February 27, the two teams battle at 7:05 p.m. The rematch is set for Sunday, March 1 at 2:05 p.m.
Propelled by a five-game winning streak, St. Louis comes into the weekend in first place in the Major Arena Soccer League with an 11-3-3 (wins-losses-overtime losses) record. Baltimore is in fifth place with an 8-6-2 record. The Ambush have seven regular-season games remaining and are jockeying for a favorable seed in the playoffs. With only three points separating the top four teams in the standings, each remaining game takes on added importance. The Blast have eight games left and are working to secure a postseason berth.
Both teams have enjoyed recent success that they hope to build on as they vie for a playoff spot as the regular season winds down. The Ambush have won five in a row and seven of their last eight games. Baltimore has won three in a row and five of their last eight. The two teams have met once this season, with St. Louis winning the first encounter 7-3 on Baltimore’s home turf on Valentine’’s Day. The Ambush are 6-1-1 at home, while the Blast are 3-3-1 on the road and the fervent support of their avid fan base could give the Ambush the advantage this weekend.
Following this weekend’s series against the Blast, the Ambush conclude their current home stand when they host the Empire Strykers on Saturday, March 7 at 6:05 p.m. CST.
