Saint Charles, Missouri (March 15, 2024) – The St. Louis Ambush conclude the home portion of their 2023-24 season when they host the Kansas City Comets Sunday, March 17 at 2:05 p.m. CT at The Family Arena. A double-header is on tap Sunday, as the Ambush 2 wrap up their M2 season by hosting the Iowa Raptors FC at 5:00 p.m. CT. One ticket gets both games, offering fans a full afternoon of indoor soccer action.

The Ambush come into Sunday’s game with a 4-10-6 (wins-losses-overtime losses) record, while their cross-state rivals are 12-6-4. Sunday’s duel is the sixth and final meeting between the two teams for the 2023-24 season. These matchups comprise one-fourth of each team’s schedule. In head-to-head meetings this season, the Comets hold a 4-1 advantage.

St. Louis will be seeking to reverse their recent fortunes as they have lost five in a row, the last three in overtime. They also lost by the same score, 8-7, in each of their last three games. Close games have been a trademark of this year’s Ambush squad, who have lost eight games by a single goal. Six of those eight losses were in overtime. Kansas City invades The Family Arena riding a four-game winning streak as they build momentum for what they hope will be a trip to the playoffs.

Sunday is also Fan Appreciation Day. In addition to getting two games for one price, there will be various schwag giveaways throughout the game, a post-game autograph session on the field and a free Ambush poster to the first 1000 fans in attendance, courtesy of SumnerOne.

Following Sunday’s home finale, the Ambush wrap up the season on the road, with back-to-back games against Utica City FC next Saturday and Sunday, March 23 and 24, followed by a visit to Texas to tangle with the Dallas Sidekicks on Saturday, March 30.
