St. Charles, MO (December 26, 2019) – The St. Louis Ambush (1-3) host the Tacoma Stars (2-3) Friday night at 7:35 p.m. CST at the Family Arena. Friday’s contest is the only meeting between the Ambush and Stars slated for the 2019-20 season.

The Ambush are coming off an 8-7 overtime win over the Kansas City Comets on December 15 while the Stars are looking to bounce back from losing their last two games. Friday’s match is the first of two this weekend for the Stars, who face the Comets in Independence on Saturday night. It is the only game of the weekend for the Ambush.

Leading the Ambush offense is Tony Walls (six points in four games played) and Duduca (four points in four games played). Player/coach Nick Perera leads Tacoma’s offense with 13 points in five games played.

Ambush goalkeeper Paulo ranks sixth in the league in save percentage (.711) and is one of only two goalkeepers in the league to score a goal thus far this season. In the nets for Tacoma is Danny Waltman, a solid veteran who is in his 16th season.

Following Friday’s duel, the Ambush will host the Comets in a New Year’s Eve matinee affair, Tuesday, December 31 at 3:05 p.m. CST before taking to the road for a two-game road trip in Mexico.
