AMBUSH PLAY HOME AND AWAY THIS WEEKEND

by Jim Fossell

St. Charles, MO

The St. Louis Ambush play at home and on the road in back-to-back contests this Friday, February 6 and Saturday, February 7.

The top two offensive threats in the MASL square off when the Ambush host the Comets on Friday at the Family Arena. Ambush forward Gordy Gurson leads the league in goals with 40 and is tied for second in points with 55. Comets forward Leo Gibson is fourth in the league in goals with 32 and first in points with 61. The 16-0 Comets have already clinched the Central Division title. The Ambush could earn bragging rights if they can pull off a win on Friday as the only team to hand their cross-state rivals a loss.
