Saint Charles, Missouri (December 13, 2023) – Still in search of their first win of the season, the St. Louis Ambush take to the field twice this weekend, once on the road and once at home.

On Friday, December 15, the Ambush visit the Milwaukee Wave at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena at 6:35 p.m. CT. The Ambush then come home to The Family Arena on Sunday, December 17 to hose the Dallas Sidekicks in a 3:05 p.m. matinee affair.

The Ambush come into the weekend with an 0-2-1 (wins-losses-overtime losses) record. Milwaukee takes the field at 1-1-1. Friday’s duel is the only one of the weekend for the Wave.

Dallas enters the weekend with a 1-1-0 record but that will change before Sunday’s match because the Sidekicks will be in action Saturday night at home against San Diego.

St. Louis’ offense is led by Wiliam Eskay, who scored four goals in last Saturday’s loss to the Empire Strykers. Billy Stimac has also been hot, tallying two goals and one assist in his last two games.

Offensively for Milwaukee is the perennial scoring machine Ian Bennett, who had no points in his first two games before exploding for a hat trick on December 9 against Monterrey. Mario Alvarez has been the team’s best playmaker, contributing three assists in three games played.

Dallas’ Blas Perez has been their offensive leader thus far with four goals and one assist. Close behind him is veteran Jamie Lovegrove with two goals and two assists.

Following this weekend’s games, the Ambush get a break over Christmas weekend before returning to action on Thursday, December 28 when they visit the Kansas City Comets at 7:05 p.m. CT at the Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence. The two teams then clash again on New Year’s Eve at 2:05 p.m. at The Family Arena. All games are webcast at twitch.com.
