AMBUSH SIGN VETERAN FORWARD MIKE DA-SILVA

St. Charles, Missouri (June 15, 2023) – The St. Louis Ambush continued formation of their 2023-24 roster this week with the addition of veteran forward Mike Da-Silva.

Da-Silva is a veteran of four seasons in the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL). He has played with the Baltimore Blast (2019-20), Orlando SeaWolves (2019-20) and Kansas City Comets (2021 to 2023) before being traded to the Harrisburg Heat, where he finished the 2022-23 season. In 51 career professional indoor soccer games, he has compiled 18 goals and eight assists.

Da-Silva hails from Lagos, Nigeria. He graduated from Cardinal Stritch University on Fox Point, Wisconsin with a Bachelor's degree in computer science. He was a three sport varsity athlete at Milwaukee Lutheran High School (soccer, track, basketball) where he was a two-time All American and two-time All Conference player. Da-Silva said, “I am excited for the opportunity. Can’t wait to battle for a championship with the boys in teal.”

Ambush co-owner, General Manager and Head Coach Jeff Locker said of his new six-foot-two forward, “Mike Da-Silva brings us veteran experience along with impressive stature at the forward position. We believe he will be a good fit for our team and will contribute to our future success.”
