AMBUSH TRADE REGET TO FLORIDA FOR BRAITHWAITE

St. Charles, MO (October 15, 2019) – The St. Louis Ambush have traded forward Zach Reget to the Florida Tropics for forward Andre Braithwaite, the teams announced today. Per league and team policies, no further details were disclosed.

Braithwaite comes to the Ambush with four seasons of professional indoor soccer experience. Andre has played two seasons with the Missouri Comets (2013-15) and Kansas City Comets (2017-18), before splitting the 2018-19 season between the Florida Tropics and Utica City FC.

The 28-year-old native of Kingston, Jamaica has played forward and defender in his 62 game professional indoor soccer career. Braithwaite has appeared in 62 games, compiling 39 goals, 15 assists and 13 blocked shots.

Reget joined the Ambush for the 2017-18 season, which he spent on the reserve roster. He advanced to the major league squad for 2018-19, posting 22 goals and 10 assists on his way to capturing the MASL Rookie of the Year honor.

The Ambush kick off their 2019-20 season when they welcome the defending MASL Champion Milwaukee Wave to the Family Arena on Black Friday, November 29, 2019 at 7:05 p.m. CT. Ahead of the season, the Ambush will treat fans to their annual free Fanfest, including an exhibition game against the Dallas Sidekicks, on Saturday, November 16, 2019. Fanfest activities commence at 4:30 p.m. CT with the exhibition game slated for 7:05 p.m. CT.
