AMBUSH VISIT CROSS-STATE RIVALS SATURDAY
Saint Charles, Missouri (February 29, 2024) – The St. Louis Ambush take a trip across the state to visit the Kansas City Comets this Saturday, March 2 at 6:05 p.m. CT at the Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence.
The Ambush come into the game with a 4-10-4 (wins-losses-overtime losses) record, while the Comets are 10-6-4. The two teams have square off four times this season, with Kansas City winning three of those battles. Saturday’s match is the only game of the weekend for each team.
Ahead of Saturday’s action, the Ambush announced the signing of rookie midfielder Ryan Khedoo prior to this week’s roster deadline. Khedoo is a native of Brampton, Ontario, Canada. He played collegiate soccer at St. Louis Community College, University of Missouri Kansas City and UC Irvine in Irvine, California. Prior to joining the Ambush, Khedoo played semi-pro soccer with Sigma FC in Canada.
Following Saturday’s duel, the Ambush visit the Milwaukee Wave on Sunday, March 10 at 1:05 p.m. CT at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena. The next Ambush home game is slated for Sunday, March 17 at 2:05 p.m. CT at The Family Arena when the Comets come to town. March 17 is a double-header, with the Ambush 2 hosting the Iowa Raptors in an MASL 2 contest following the Ambush-Wave game. March 17 also concludes the home schedule for the 2023-24 season.
