CULTURE OF ‘WE’: UPDATE ON THE UPCOMING SEASON

Phase 3: Part 1

It’s been almost a month – and I’m sure you’re all as anxious as we are about the changes happening within the organization.  You want to hear some news about the team, about players being signed, about strategies for the upcoming season… right?  Well – let me see what I can do to shed some light on the Ambush franchise.

WE were very excited to announce that Hewerton Moreira will be the Head Coach for the 2017-2018 season. Hewerton (pronounced Everton) comes to us with 14 seasons of professional play, 3 indoor championships, and a wealth of knowledge under his belt.  His current experience playing and coaching the arena game will be an asset to our organization and we expect a significant change will be seen on the field.

Several players from last year’s Ambush family have been resigned and contracts have been extended.  Included in the most recent additions are Lucas Almeida, Victor France, and Pepe (Joao Junqueira).  We are thrilled to be able to announce they have all signed with the Ambush through the 2019-2020 season.

We have several more players who have signed contracts and who will be announced in the upcoming weeks, including the son of an Indoor Soccer Legend.  You’ll have to watch social media and our website for updates.  You can also sign up for our newsletter to receive the information directly from the club as well.

The schedule is nearly complete – and we plan to announce our schedule very soon.  We do have 3 guaranteed dates for the 2017-2018 season: Saturday November 11th, Sunday December 31st, and Saturday February 10th.  The remaining 8 home dates will be played November through February.  Exhibition games will be played on several Saturdays in the month of October – so watch for those announcements as well.

Now is the time to continue to pivot – to not allow the off-season to pass us by.  We continue to work hard, push forward, and plan for the upcoming Ambush season, both on and off the field.  I’m excited for the upcoming season and I invite you and your family to be a part of it!

There is much to do. But together We can do it. Together, We will do it.
