Dr. Perez became the team Chiropractor for the Ambush last season, and said she expected to enjoy the role, but she didn’t know she’d like it so much, she would become part of the team’s ownership group. “I have thoroughly enjoyed my association with the Ambush and am thrilled to expand my role with the club as one of the owners,” Perez said.

She has obtained an advanced degree in Rehabilitation, a certification in Veterinary Orthopedic Medicine and is currently working on her certification in Functional Medicine. Dr. Perez said she uses chiropractic care to “improve the health and wellness in all areas of my patient’s lives, whether they are having problems with their back pain or neck pain, or just want to start feeling better when they wake up in the morning.”

Being bilingual, she is able able to cater to needs of a wide variety of patients. She takes a “whole person” approach in chiropractic care, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, as opposed to just treating the symptoms. Dr. Perez is actively involved in the community through multiple Chambers of Commerce and is a member of the Missouri Chiropractic Association. Dr. Perez takes pride in serving her community through chiropractic care for the past 10 years.

Haines said he welcomes Perez to the Ambush organization. “I am impressed with Elizabeth’s knowledge and the success she has had in building her practice. I look forward to her using those skills to help the Ambush organization grow and become more successful,” he said. Haines added that the Ambush franchise is seeking additional members. “We are always open to talking with qualified, successful individuals who want to contribute to the success of professional soccer in St. Louis by joining our organization,” Haines said.

The Ambush are a charter member of the Indoor Professional League (IPL) for the 2016-17 season. They will kick off their fourth season this fall when they commence a schedule consisting of ten home games at the Family Arena in St. Charles.
