FREE FAN FEST AND PRE-SEASON GAME OCT. 3
St. Charles, MO
As a prelude to their 2015-16 season, the St. Louis Ambush are treating their fans to a free Fan Fest and pre-season exhibition game Saturday, October 3 at the Family Arena in St. Charles. Admission to the fan fest and parking at the Family Arena are free for this special event.
Among the activities planned are a block party with music and inflatables for the kids, a special showing of the documentary “Whoomp There It Is: The Story of the 1995 NPSL Champion St. Louis Ambush,” and a pre-season game against the expansion Cedar Rapids Rampage, followed by an autograph session on the field.
The Rampage are preparing for their inaugural season in the Major Arena Soccer League. They are led by Head Coach Jeff Kraft, a former Coach of the Year in the AISL. St. Louis fans may remember Kraft as a player with the Kansas City Comets in 1986 and more recently as Assistant Coach of the Chicago Storm, who had an intense rivalry with the St. Louis Steamers in the 2004-05 season.
