GIBSON EARNS HONORABLE MENTION IN PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARDS

St. Charles, MO (December 4, 2018) -- St. Louis Ambush forward Jerjer Gibson has earned an Honorable Mention from the Major Arena Soccer League in the Team of the Week awards for Week One of the 2018-19 season. The entire Team of the Week was released today.

Gibson tallied a goal in Friday's season-opening win over the Orlando SeaWolves, then came back the next night and posted two more goals in Saturday's loss to the Florida Tropics. The current season is Gibson's second with the Ambush. Last season, he appeared in all 22 of the team's games, contributing 13 goals and 10 assists. 

The Ambush are on the road this weekend when they face the Harrisburg heat Saturday, December 8 at 6:05 p.m. CST at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Arena. The Ambush home opener is slated for Sunday, December 16 at 3:05 p.m. CST at the Family Arena.
