Gold’s Gym Returns as Ambush Sponsor
St. Charles, MO (November 6, 2018) – Gold’s Gym returns as a sponsor of the St. Louis Ambush professional indoor soccer team for the 2018-19 season, the Ambush announced today.
The first Gold’s Gym was opened by Joe Gold in Venice Beach, California in August 1965, long before the modern day health club existed. The chain has grown into a worldwide leader in fitness, with more than 700 locations serving over two million people across six continents. Gold’s Gym has 11 locations in the St. Louis area.
Ambush General Manager Brian Roth welcomed Gold’s Gym’s return as a sponsor saying, “We're excited to partner with Gold's Gym for the second consecutive season. This will allow our players to have additional resources in order to keep their fitness during the season. It's also important for us to partner with another national brand and Gold's Gym is top of the line in the fitness industry."
The Ambush kick off their 2018-19 campaign with road games on November 30 at Orlando, December 1 at Florida and December 8 at Harrisburg. The upcoming season will consist of 24 games, with all 12 home games being played at the Family Arena in St. Charles. The home opener is slated for Sunday, December 16 at 3:05 p.m. CT when the Ambush host the Kansas City Comets. Season tickets are now on sale and start as low as $150 for all 12 home games.
Prior to the regular season, the Ambush have scheduled two preseason games. They will host the Dallas Sidekicks on November 18 at the Family Arena and the Comets on November 24 at the Dellwood Recreation Center.
