St. Charles, MO (February 6, 2019) – St. Louis Ambush defender Magui Souza, otherwise known simply as Magui, has earned a spot on the Sporturf MASL Team of the Week for Week Ten of the 2018-19 regular season.

Although the Ambush lost 8-7 to the Orlando SeaWolves in the last minute of the match on Saturday, Magui did his part, both on offense and on defense, to keep his team in the game. He tallied two goals, three assists and blocked four shots. The current season is the Brazilian’s first with the Ambush and in the MASL. Magui has appeared in 14 of the team’s 15 games, posting five goals and nine assists. His 14 points is good for third on the team.

Magui is the third member of the Ambush to make the Sporturf MASL Team of the Week this season. He joins teammates Zach Reget, who was named twice and Douglas Dos Santos, who was named once.
