Kent, WA – The St. Louis Ambush fell to 2-13 on the season when they were defeated by the Tacoma Stars Friday night at the ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington. The win improved Tacoma’s record to 11-5.

Tacoma’s goals came from former Ambush player Dan Antoniuk, Vince McKluskey, Derek Johnson, Adam West, Raphael Cox and Troy Peterson. Those players each registered one goal, but three other Tacoma players tallied two goals each: Jamael Cox, Joseph Cairel and Michael Ramos.

Ambush scoring came from Andre Hayne, Richard Schmermund, Freddy Moojen, Victor France and newcomer Luiz Mota playing in his first game with the team.

Peter Sliwa made eight saves on 20 save attempts in goal for the Ambush. Danny Waltman saved 20 on 25 chances in earning the win for the Stars. Officials charged St. Louis with 11 fouls and two penalty minutes, while Tacoma picked up eight fouls and two penalty minutes.

The Ambush will travel to Cedar Rapids for their next game when they square off with the Rampage Saturday, February 13. The Ambush return home to the Family Arena when they host the Detroit Waza Flo Friday, February 19 at 7:05 p.m.
