Tucanos Joins Ambush Sponsorship Family

St. Charles, MO (November 2, 2018) – Tucanos Brazilian Grill will partner with the St. Louis Ambush professional indoor soccer club as a sponsor for the 2018-19 season. 

The award-winning Tucanos Brazilian Grill is a community-oriented, experiential dining destination that combines the traditional Brazilian grilling experience with the fun and flair of the beaches of Rio de Janeiro. Tucanos opened its doors in St. Charles in February 2013 at the Streets of St. Charles at I-70 and South Fifth Street. Tucanos operates nine additional locations in Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, New Mexico, South Carolina, Virginia, and Utah.

Ambush General Manager Brian Roth said, “It's great to bring Tucanos Brazilian Grill back on board with us. With their location at The Street of St. Charles, coupled with the handful of Brazilian players on our roster, it's a perfect fit for Tucanos and for the Ambush. It's also a great place for our fans to go and dine before our games at the Family Arena.”

Roth added that a new feature at home games for the 2018-19 season will be the “Tucanos Ambush Three Stars of the Game.” announced on the field. Those players will throw tee shirts in the stands provided by Tucanos. The Ambush will also be hosting two "Dine With The Ambush" events for fans at Tucanos at dates to be announced soon.

The Ambush kick off their 2018-19 campaign with road games on November 30 at Orlando, December 1 at Florida and December 8 at Harrisburg. The upcoming season will consist of 24 games, with all 12 home games being played at the Family Arena in St. Charles. The home opener is slated for Sunday, December 16 at 3:05 p.m. CT when the Ambush host the Kansas City Comets. Season tickets are now on sale and start as low as $150 for all 12 home games.

Prior to the regular season, the Ambush have scheduled two preseason games. They will host the Dallas Sidekicks on November 18 at the Family Arena and the Comets on November 24 at the Dellwood Recreation Center.
